David & the Giants
The Secular Days

Special thanks to Richard Ball for the concert photos, & to Wanda Nelson for the photos from the book, "Four Giant Steps".  If anyone out there has any other pictures, interviews, concert footage, or anything that would be helpful & of interest to D&G fans, please drop me a line at the e-mail address below.  Thanks - Todd Parrott

These songs seem to be "mystery" songs that were released on 45s according to David Huff, but no one seems to have ever seen them:

GROOVY KIND OF LOVE
FOOL NUMBER ONE
I NEED LOVE
I'LL MAKE IT 'TIL TOMORROW
IT'S GOTTA BE LOVE
LIGHTS OUT
THEN OUR LOVE WILL START OVER
WITHOUT YOUR LOVE

These were listed at one time on the FAME studios web site, at http://www.fame2.com/fame/discog.htm. Has anyone out there seen any of these?

Here's a list of some of the songs released by D&G on 45s back in the secular days:

Rockin' Robin / I'll Always Love You (1963-64?? David doesn't remember!)
On Bended Knees / Someday You're Gonna Be Sorry (1967)
Ten Miles High / I'm Down So Low (1968)
Superlove / Rolling In My Sleep (1968)
A Letter To Josephine / Supergood Feeling (1970)
Love 'em & Leave 'em / Don't Say No (1970)

Solo releases by David W. Huff:

Mary Browne / When It Rains (1972)
Glory Hallelujah / The Apple Song (1973)
Sweet Marjorene / Don't Kill Me (1977)

Released on BANG Records by Muscle Shoals Horns:

Born To Get Down / Hustle To The Music (1976)

Special thanks to Brandt M., for the info on the solo releases, & to Richard Ball, for letting us know about the "Born To Get Down / Hustle To The Music" 45.  I am no longer able to fulfill the many requests for the free CD of these tunes, however, the full versions of these songs will be posted here soon.  If you have previously requested a copy of the CD, I will be fulfilling these requests in the next couple of weeks.  I apologize for the delay.
